LVDT & Half Bridge
Technical Information

A transducer converts a physical parameter (eg. pressure, temperature or position) into another parameter, usually an electrical signal. LVDT and Half-Bridge transducers convert the movement of a core within the magnetic field of a coil into a variable electrical signal. The core movement alters the relative signals between two windings, with LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) and Half-Bridge being two alternative approaches to the coil format.
