Designed for enhanced performance and simplified installation, Orbit® 5ync builds on the proven capabilities of previous Orbit systems, making setup quicker and operation more efficient than ever.
Each Hub supports up to eight probes and offers flexible connectivity via USB or Ethernet, making it easy to integrate into your existing workflow. The system also enables simultaneous operation of up to 32 Hubs, scaling total sensor capacity to as many as 256.

The Orbit5ync system is designed for effortless setup, removing the need for complex configuration. With its plug-and-play functionality, users can quickly connect the hardware and begin measurements without specialised technical expertise. This reduces setup time, minimises errors, and allows teams to focus on data collection rather than system integration.
High Precision
Orbit5ync uses advanced digital sensors equipped with integrated electronics and high-resolution 24-bit analogue-to-digital (A/D) converters. This ensures extremely accurate measurement capture, even for very small variations.
High Speed
The system delivers high-speed data transfer with timestamps accurate to the microsecond level. This allows precise tracking of measurement events over time, ensuring that fast processes can be monitored reliably. Such accuracy is essential in dynamic applications where timing differences can significantly impact results.
Easy Connectivity
Orbit5ync provides flexible connectivity options, allowing users to connect directly to a PC via USB or integrate into larger networks using Ethernet. This flexibility makes it suitable for both standalone use and more complex, networked measurement environments.
Powerful
The system supports multiple power configurations, including a standard 24V supply or Power over Ethernet (PoE). This flexibility simplifies installation by reducing the need for separate power lines, especially in distributed setups, while ensuring stable and consistent performance of both hubs and sensors.
Multi-Measurements
Each hub can collect data from up to eight sensors simultaneously, with microsecond timing precision and a sampling rate of up to 4kHz per sensor. This enables comprehensive multi-point measurement in real time, making it ideal for applications requiring synchronised data capture across several inputs.
Synchronised
Orbit5ync supports the chaining of up to 32 hubs, combining all collected data into a single continuous stream. This scalability allows the system to expand for large or complex measurement setups while maintaining synchronisation. The network operates with a frame rate of up to 8 Mbps, ensuring smooth and coordinated data flow.
Manoeuvrable
With support for hub-to-hub cable lengths of up to 10 metres, the system allows flexible physical placement of components. This manoeuvrability makes it easier to deploy across larger workspaces or production environments without sacrificing connectivity.
Data Rate
The system supports Ethernet data transfer rates of up to 10kHz per sensor, ensuring fast and reliable communication. It also allows cable lengths up to 100 metres and can power up to two chained hubs (16 sensors) via PoE, combining both performance and efficiency in larger installations.
Orbit5ync Suite Software
The Orbit5ync Suite software offers a robust development and integration environment based on .NET Standard 2 and implemented in C#. Its client-server architecture supports multiple programming interfaces, including C#, Python, COM, and LabVIEW virtual instruments. This enables seamless integration with existing systems and provides flexibility for custom application development and automation.
